Mango Salsa

Ingredients

200g tomatoes

150g mango

1 red onion

1/2 red pepper

2 spring onions

juice of 1/2 lime

Method

  1. Dice the mango, tomato, peppers and onions.
  2. Stir together in a bowl and squeeze the lime juice over the salsa.

Home Made Salsa

Ingredients

20 Plum Tomatoes

Half an onion

1 Green Bell Pepper

1/4 tin of chopped tomatoes

1/4 of a lime

1tsp chilli powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp garlic

Method

  1. Cut the tomatoes in half and roast in the oven at 200℃ for 20-25 minutes.
  2. Wait for them to cool and add the pepper, chopped tomatoes, lime and all of the spices to a blender. Add in the roasted tomatoes and blend for 1 minute.
  3. Dice the onion and add it to the salsa.
  4. Put the salsa into a container and store in the fridge. It will keep for a couple of weeks.
